This procedure involves extracting remaining teeth, placing 4-6 implants per arch, and attaching a low-profile bridge. The implants are angled to avoid sinuses, eliminating the need for bone grafts and lengthy healing.

Your doctor will place four to six implants per arch and install temporary fixed bridges while your implants integrate and your mouth heals. Once healed, your final teeth will be designed with zirconia, a stronger and more lifelike material than acrylic. Zirconia is also more hygienic, stain-resistant, and offers a longer lifespan and superior aesthetics compared to acrylic/titanium hybrid bridges.

All-On-4 Procedure Timeline
The All-On-4 procedure typically takes 4-6 hours, depending on whether you're having one arch (upper or lower) or both arches treated. After the procedure, you'll leave with your temporary bridge(s) securely attached to your new implants. These temporary bridges will remain in place for about 4 months to allow your implants to integrate with your bone and for your gums and jaw to stabilize.
Following this healing period, we’ll start crafting your final bridge(s). This process involves several appointments over 5-6 weeks, during which you'll collaborate with us to design your ideal smile for your permanent teeth.

Mouth Impressions
The lab will use these impressions to create your temporary implant bridge(s). If you are missing most or all of the teeth in the treated arch, the doctor might recommend a wax try-in. This mock-up of your temporary implant bridge allows us to assess bite position, aesthetics, and make any necessary adjustments before finalizing your bridge.

Procedure
The procedure usually takes between 4 to 7 hours and includes removing any existing teeth (if applicable), placing the implants, and fitting the temporary implant bridge(s).

Post Op #1
The day after your procedure, we'll check the healing progress and address any questions you may have.

Post Op #2
Three weeks after the procedure, we'll remove the sutures, check your healing progress, and typically clear you to start using a water flosser/WaterPik.

Impressions for Final Teeth

Try In
5-10 days after your impressions, we will try in a mock-up of your final teeth. Multiple wax try-ins may be needed to ensure you are completely satisfied with the design. Once we finalize the wax try-ins, no further changes can be made to them. If you request changes after the final bridges are fabricated, there will be a full-cost remake charge.

Seat Final Teeth
Once you approve your wax try-ins, it usually takes 4-6 weeks for your final bridges to be ready for placement.
