Dr. Abbie Foote
Dr. Abbie knew she wanted to become a dentist from a surprisingly young age. When she was about six years old, she attended her brother’s baseball game when a ball struck him in the face, resulting in a dental injury. Her family rushed him to the dentist, where she watched as the dentist was able to reattach his tooth. That experience left a lasting impression on her and sparked her fascination with dentistry and the incredible things dentists can do to help people.
For Dr. Abbie, dentistry is about much more than treating teeth. She loves getting to know her patients and helping them feel confident in their smiles again. Whether restoring a damaged tooth or helping someone achieve a smile they're proud to share, she finds great fulfillment in making a positive difference in her patients' lives.
Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Abbie earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis before completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association and is committed to continuing her education and providing thoughtful, high-quality care to her patients.
Outside of the office, you can usually find Dr. Abbie enjoying a good hike, cheering on her favorite sports, cooking up something new (although she’ll happily leave the baking to someone else!), or spending time with family and 4-legged friends.
She loves the opportunity to care for others and especially enjoys helping patients restore not only their smiles, but also their confidence. For Dr. Abbie, one of the most rewarding parts of dentistry is seeing the positive impact that restoring a patient’s smile can have on their overall well-being.
