Dr. Blake Ferando
Dentistry is about taking every individual patient and tailoring dental care that fits their needs and long-term vision for their smile. Having personally experienced dental trauma and a “bad” dentist before, I know how demoralizing a negative experience can be. I want to provide an environment that empowers patients to better dental health and also builds lasting friendships with the patients I call family.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Blake first became interested in dentistry at the end of his senior year of high school. When he started college he longed for a career that would be challenging and give him the opportunity to serve others. After deciding on dentistry for his career path Dr. Blake participated in a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic, and his passion for dentistry grew. In addition to the Dominican Republic trip, Dr. Blake has provided dental care to the underserved during trips to Jamaica and Nigeria.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
A native of the Greater St. Louis area, Dr. Blake attended Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine where he attained a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). During dental school, Dr. Blake received the honors of the Delta Dental of Illinois Oral Health Scholarship and the International College of Dentistry Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry.
Dr. Blake has attained advanced training through Wherle Implant Group, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and advanced training in digital dentistry through Cad-Ray technology. Dr. Blake is passionate about giving patients a positive long-term outlook for their smile and providing quality dental care. Dr. Blake is a member of the following organizations:

- Greater St. Louis Dental Society
Outside of the Dental Office,
What Do You Like to Do?
In his free time Dr. Blake enjoys golfing, roller coasters, and spending time hiking/swimming with his family.
